+20 Years of Custom Mascot Poses

Crafting the illusion of life

With over 20 years of experience in custom mascot poses, I’ve developed a collection that brings characters to life in ways that simple designs can’t. While anyone can create or copy a mascot’s look, the real difference between a professional and a beginner is in the posing. Giving a character natural expressions and dynamic poses is what makes it memorable. Each pose I create captures the mascot’s unique personality, making it truly connect with the audience.

Mascot Character Poses

Dolphy Qatar 2019 – Summer Sport Poses

As an illustrator, I designed this set of Dolphy poses to showcase the World Beach Games Qatar 2019 mascot in different summer sports. Each pose represents a specific sport—basketball, volleyball, skateboarding, surfing, boxing, and more—highlighting Dolphy’s energy and enthusiasm. I included sport-specific gear, like a helmet for skateboarding and goggles for swimming, to make each illustration feel authentic. Dolphy’s expressions and movements were crafted to connect with the audience and represent the dynamic spirit of the games.

Jameel – Action Football Poses

Jameel is the official mascot design for the ALJ league in Saudi Arabia, sponsored by Toyota and ALJ. Designing this mascot was challenging because, due to the nature of football, the action poses had to be highly dynamic. The character needed to look energetic in every movement while maintaining a friendly appeal. Another key aspect was ensuring it would attract a broad audience—kids, adults, men, and women. I also needed to incorporate strategic brand placement opportunities within the design, making the character adaptable for sponsorships without losing its identity.

Pepe The Bird – Coomeet Chat App

Designing Pepe the Bird for CooMeet was a fun but tricky challenge. Because Pepe is a simple, minimalist character, every detail had to work hard to show his personality. And since he’s a bird, getting his poses and “hand” gestures to feel expressive was especially tough. I had to find ways to make his wings look natural while still conveying human-like emotions. In the end, each pose was crafted to be relatable and full of character, helping Pepe connect with users and bring CooMeet’s branding to life.
